The movie is intended to be the sequel to 2015's Ant-Man, and the twentieth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Set between the events of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang, now under house arrest after the events of Civil War, tries to balance his home life as a father with his responsibilities as Ant-Man. When Hope van Dyne and Hank Pym present him with a new mission to bring to light secrets from their past, Lang teams up with Van Dyne as the new Wasp.
Paul Stephen Rudd is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer. Rudd was born April 6, 1969 in Passaic, New Jersey. His father was a historical tour guide and his mother was a sales manager at a television station. Rudd attended Broadmoor Junior High and graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School in the class of 1987. He attended the University of Kansas, where he majored in theater.
